Steve Spurrier says he feels like he is in his 40's and plans to stay at South Carolina for a while. Personally, I like Spurrier being at South Carolina. I think Bowden vs. Spurrier has added something to the Clemson-Carolina rivalry that has been missing - a ton of national exposure. It also creates an urgency within Tommy Bowden and Clemson that they better keep their foot on the gas or else risk falling behind.
With a victory in Death Valley this year Tommy Bowden would move to 3-1 against Spurrier while at Clemson. A loss would obviously make that record 2-2. Ironically, neither team has won this game at home since Spurrier's arrival at South Carolina. It's time to end that short streak in 2008.
