I'll continue to beat this drum, even if no one is listening. Mark my words: sometime later this year the media will say Tommy Bowden didn't meet "expectations" again. The question is whose expectations did he not meet? The fans? I haven't heard one Clemson fan say the Tigers are going to go undefeated. I've heard many say they could, but most likely won't. But yet, here is another member of the media giving us the road map to a 12-0 season for Clemson.
It seems to me that the media is the one setting the expectations for Bowden to live up to, not the Clemson fans or athletic department. Most Clemson fans I know set their expectations at an ACC championship. Anything else is gravy.
