Bobby Murcer Part II

My friend Big D, read my entry on Bobby Murcer the other day and passed along some interesting tidbits he found on Murcer's Wikipedia entry. It mentions several interesting facts about Murcer's career, including a "feud" with Gaylord Perry, Murcer eulogizing Thurman Munson and then going out and driving in all 5 runs in a 5-4 victory, and the story I mentioned - Murcer promising a dying child (who wasn't aware he was dying) a home run in that nights game (though Murcer denied an outright promise of a home run).
